At the SUBOG award ceremony on April 10th, 2017, WFCS 107.7 The Edge was awarded Outstanding Student Organization of the Year by faculty advisor Gil Gigliotti.

When called on stage and given a plaque, eight DJ’s, including General Manager Anna Battye, RPM Director, Brazos Ebner, Director Of Development Kyle Miller, Public Relations Director Victoria Minervino, Urban Director Josh Fritho, and DJs Akai Long, and Mike Dubois, accepted the award as Gigliotti began to list the successes of WFCS in the past year.

Between sponsoring a minimum of 20 events on campus and a year of re-branding, WFCS 107.7 The Edge earned the title of 2016-2017 Outstanding Student Organization of the Year!
